WHAT BREED ARE MY GIRLS?

Hello all!

I am a newby, and here are 2 of our first 4 chickens (2 roosters had to go to a farm).

Can anyone tell me what breed they are?

They are not quite 12 weeks old.

I was given them free as 2 week old chicks from the hatchery that visited my children's day care centre.

Appreciate any help.

hmm,, red sexlinks? never seen them with so much white before though

I agree, they look like red sexlinks. I've seen a few with that much white, even with a bit more.

There are different combos that will give you Red sex links. These look like NHR X Delaware or White Rock, otherwise I don't think you'd get so much white.

My Red sex link is much darker and has a little black in her tail but she is the largest in the flock and lays the largest eggs.
