What breed are my new girls?

I was under the impression that Ameraucana, Araucana, and Easter Egger chickens have darker legs?...These look like they have yellow legs.

I am new to learning about these so I am just curious.

An EE is a mutt chicken. It doesn't conform to any standard chicken breed. The way you get an EE is it has to be half Auracana or Ameracauna. Both Auracana and Ameracauna lay a blue egg. That is how you get EEs that will lay a blue/green egg. They have that half of the blue egg gene. So the Auracana (rumpless meaning no tail) and the Ameracauna are purebreds. An EE is a chicken with one parent being either an Auracana or Ameracauna and the other parent being a different breed.

Hope that helps a little with trying to figure it out. There is a post somewhere that explains it even better...

It doesn't necessarily have to be half, just carry a gene that would be for tinted eggs, which means somewhere it its family tree there would be an Araucana. With all the mixes and mish-mash of these types of birds, that family tree probably has many, many, many roots and branches.

Many times you will see willow colored legs, but that is not a must. They have been mixed enough so that you can get them in a wide variety of characteristics. That is why people get so confused. Then too, breeders and hatcheries sell these EEs as Ameraucanas or Araucanas when they are not even close to the pure breeds.
