What breed are our ducklings?

We just got these two cuties a few days ago and can't quite figure out what species they are. Anyone have any clues?

their species is a domesticated mallard, I think

Welsh harlequin is my best guess

We got them at a animal swap. They were large pens with tons of ducklings. All like ducklings were grouped together but their breeds weren't marked unfortunately.

Look like Welsh harlequin to me too. If they're under 5days old, most likely female cuz the bills are light colored...

Thanks so much. Doesn't really matter to us but the curiosity was killing me.

Unfortunatly we don't know how old they are either. No one there knew anything about the feathered babies :/

They're kind of look like runners from the way he's standing

We'll be taking them to the vet next week so maybe he'll be able to give us a diffinitive answer. If not the mystery will be solved when they get their adult feathers.

Either way they are just as sweet as can be. They follow my daughters everywhere. I think it helps that they always have a few peas on hand for the ducklings.
