What breed are these bantams???

Probably so, if it comes down to it I’d give them away for food. But I’d really prefer they go to be pets. People could also be reselling them I suppose, seems to be some sort of chicken shortage near me. The farmer I buy my feed from also sells laying age golden comets, he says people have been buying them as fast as he gets them for $15. Has heard of some people reselling them for $25.
Yeah, that makes sense! I would prefer these found a nice farm home or something too with their own flock but my dad (and I’m sure the neighbors) were getting extremely irritated. 😂🤣 they would all start crowing super early in the morning lol and we had a lot of them!

And oh wow that’s super shady!! I don’t get people that do that sort of thing. :hmm

Heard of puppy flippers and stuff too. It’s super sad to me.

Yea. TheThe place weto got ours in recieved a shipment that day, and it wasn't even halc way through the day before they were left with just the poorly looking chicks. And because they weren't thriving, they gave them to usthe for free.

Oh it’s just a matter of time. My neighbors never minded my one rooster but I’m sure if I get 10 going at once they’ll get upset quick. Bad enough my hens go Into the neighbors yard and dig up her mulch. There 8-10 weeks old and a few have already started trying to crow. I will say, it’s hilarious watching them trying to crow, especially the bantams.

Yea it’s crazy, people panic buying chicks because they think eggs are gonna run out. Have a sneaky suspicion there’s gonna be a lot of chickens on Craigslist in the next few months....

Oh boy!!! I’m lucky I guess because mine never go to the neighbors. They go on or just over the line but it’s woods between us even though they’re close so they just stay in the woods haha or they go in our own yard cause we have like 2.5 acres. They used to just stay in the back near their coop but now they go all over the place (the front is way bigger) hahah

And it’s definitely funny when they start to crow 😂🤣

Took mine a while to figure it out lol and my current one still doesn’t crow lol

But I had like 8 boys, lost two before they started crowing, and of course have my “non crowing” boy, but all the rest were crowing. Sometimes all 5, sometimes just 2 or 3, but they’d start very early. And one in particular really liked to hear himself talk and would crow all day LOL or at least throughout the day and sometimes he wouldn’t shut up and would go for like a half hour or hour straight at a time. 😂🤣:th then my other one also liked to crow a lot and he also copied the big girl’s egg song so it got extra loud when they all got going lol I loved them but was glad to be rid of them. 😂🤣🙈 and sometimes two of the boys would have crow offs too lol

I'm hoping for that because I don't think I'll be able to get chicks in the next couple months. I'm moving in 2 weeks and then we'll get the small coop that used to be on this property set up before building the big one.

The 2 lighter chicks with chupmunk backs are old english game. Looks like maybe a black breasted red and a spangled (the one with the white chest). The darker chipmunk does it have feathered feet? The black one is either a black old english game or a black rosecomb probably. Can you get a picture of its comb?

Already figured out what they most likely are. Unfortunately the three ee look alikes did not make it. They died within the first two or so days. Believe the darkest one to be a silver duckwing old english bantam, and 100% sure the white one is a silkie.

None of the ee look alikes had feathered feet.
