What breed are these birds?

Yes, about a little more than half the size of a regular duck.

Not much of a meal if you are leaning that way.

I saw somewhere that they are selling for $170 a pair, I don't really know how to ship them, maybe I can keep them and see if I can get some little ducks.

I think being a non- domesticated animal people would lean more towards a novelty pet rather than a food pet. They sure are gorgeous, if you were looking for a place I doubt you would have trouble finding one for them.

Aside from being able to fly, they are no different than my ducks and a lot less noisy.

Ok, so I want eggs when they come! (Hubby is going to kill me!) Hahaha! Of course that is in the future, no? He doesn't have to know that I"m secretly plotting.

That is, of course, you are willing to sell some eggs! I know NOTHING about eggs, but I'm getting an incubator for Christmas.

Sure, but I am not sure when the mating season is for these birds. I don't think they lay all year like domesticated birds.
