I bought 9 chicks from TSC about 2 days ago and I got 3 from the assorted pullets bin and three from the red pullets bin and 3 more from another pullets bin.The 3 I got from the third pullets bin had a sign over it that said Amber links. I looked up Amber link chicks but none of the pictures look like the ones I have. I also don't know what kind I got from the first pullets bin. I have asked several people and they have said white leghorn, amber links, or tetra tints. I looked at some pictures of those breeds as chicks and they look very similar, but I just wanted to get some more opinions.
Heres one of the three I got from the third pullets bin that was suppose to be a "Amber link" This is the one that has more feathers in than the other 2. I didn't take any pictures of the other 2 but they look the same they just don't have as much feathers in and all of the 3 have brown/blackish feathers on their wings. If you look in the background you might see the other 2. The other two have not grown as much black feathers in but their other wing feathers are white but they don't have a lot of wing feathers in and they seem younger than the one in the picture.
Heres are a couple pictures of one of the chicks that came out of the first pullet bin.All three look alike and have yellow bodies with white wings.
PS.I am guessing that the 3 red ones are red sexlinks because thats what they look like.
