I purchased these at TSC 3 weeks ago.

Some of them have grown extremly fast while others are about half the size.

I was told that I was purchasing gold comets/ sex links

That is what I am starting to think.

Take a look at the chick in the back of the third picture, and the one in the top picture. These are a few of the smaller chicks could they be a Golden Comet?

They are cornish cross rocks - meat birds. The one in the last pic is a rooster. They won't live very long and will grow fast to reach butcher stage by 6-8 weeks of age. TSC should really inform folks of what they are getting. That is really sad if you bought them for pets.

You are totally right jody. I was in there the other day and these new chick owners( I was a seasoned veteran a whole 2 weeks) But they were cornish meat birds and they were happy that the finally have pet chicks and they will get their own eggs. boy are they in a suirprise or what?! and that last rooster has wattles or waddles
