Finally got a few decent pics of Mei. Cowgirl71 do you still think Buff Orpington/Barred Rock crosses?

Yes.

Hybrids can vary a lot in color. My neighbor hatched some BO x BR chicks from the same rooster and hens and got two pullets that are nearly black, with a little gold leakage on their breasts. And then the hen in the middle picture I posted (from the same parents) is nearly all gold.

I love this cross. So beautiful, but productive too. Sexlinked at hatch is another plus. I'll be hatching more of this cross next year.
