What breed are these gray chickens?

hello everybody! I can usually indentify most basic chicken breeds easily but these guys are giving me some trouble. I work on a farm, and my boss doesn’t know what they are either. I thought at first they were Blue Andalusians but they’re too fat, and their heads, combs, and legs are too dark. Anybody recognize these?

Possibly Blue Orpingtons or Blue Jersey Giants.

I'd go with blue Orpington or a blue australorp because of that slope in the back. Looks like the australian australorp standard.

Don’t the blue orps have big red combs and wattles though? These are really dark, more purple

Most likely a mix. There is also something called a "Production Blue" popping up the last couple years. Also the color is Blue not Gray.

Buff Orpington I think you mean. What hatchery did the come from? That may help pin down what breed they are.

Well we have about 20 of them, so if it’s a mix it would have to be very specifically created and if that’s the case then I’m shocked at the uniformity of them. All the chickens we got with them (from another farm) are purebred (or appear to be, for the most part) — barred rocks, Rhode Island reds, buff orphingtons, Wyandottes, etc. All the basic breeds, so it seems strange that they’d be mixed.
