Well we lost our pretty guy on the bottom due to the dogs

The kids had named him "Ruff n Ready" now "Polar Express" is taking over the flock.

Genetically, he was a partridge type patterning, one red and one silver base color gene, and had a Blue dilute gene. Nothing with a specific name. The first boy looks to have the same genetics, except he's splash, which means he's got two copies of the Blue dilute gene. Paired with the right hen, there is a very good chance of producing another cockerel that looks like the one you lost.
