The first is a Polish and the second is a Barred Rock. BTW, I love the first picture! It's beautiful, with the sunlight streaming in!

I think one is a chick with a bad toupe' and the other is obviously a jail bird (striped) see how much I know about chickens.

Oh my gosh! I know the answer to one of these (course it is already given but still!) #2 is a Barred Rock! I have one just like her. My favorite of all my chickens!
