What breed are these two, and is one a rooster?

This is my first time with chickens and was wondering if anyone could tell me the breed of this one and if it's a rooster. It's comb is higher than my other two of the same breed and it has dangly things under it's beak, which the other two do not have.



I'm also curious as to what breed this black one, on the left, with the bits of white going through the feathers is, if anyone can help.

How old is the first one? Does the black one with the white in it have a rose comb or a single comb?

The "dangles" are called wattles. Typically, on any bird under 9 weeks, early red wattles and red comb is a strong, strong sign of a cockerel.
As are big feet, along with stout legs.

They're about 6 weeks old, I'd say. I don't know the difference between a rose and single comb {this chicken keeping is very, very new to me}, but here is a better pic of her head/comb.

That looks like a single comb. With that I would of said Birchen Maran,but thye have slate legs,and this lil' one has yellow.

A cockerel, aye Fred's Hens and CrazyClucker? Urgh. I thought so, and didn't want a rooster. I even spoke to someone the other day who wanted another rooster and said if he is, she could have him. I do like the idea of a man around to "protect" them. I hope he's a quiet guy, who's pleasant and I can keep him. And thanks for all the help everyone, I appreciate it

Looks like a silver laced wyandotte like someone said. They can have a single comb.
