What breed are these?

Yea I have no idea. I think all these chickens all ready have silkie in them somewhere down the line.
I wonder if I breed to the frizzle to the ameraucana if I could get one with the beard AND the frizzle? Is that even possible? It would look neat.

Yeah, #3 definitely has Silkie in there. It looks just like some of our Silkie mixes. The "hair-do" gives it away! They are really pretty birds!

We are the biggest Silkie mix lovers! I want one of the white ones!!!!!

We have 1st, 2nd, and now 1 3rd generation of Silkie mixes and they are turning out very neat. Yours look like our 2nd generation mixes. Have you checked the toes? They usually have the 5th toe on at least one foot. We actually have one from this year that has 2 extra toes (6 on one foot) and 5 on the other. And all types of fluffiness! We love 'em!

Yep a few of them do have 5 toes. The white one does. I have a pullet that looks just like her as well, but its sister looks like it got more of the other mix in it. I'm also a silkie mix lover.
