Look like a red sex link and a black sex link, the red sex links are sold under various names by the hatcheries, the red ones are often called red stars around here.

I agree, 2 sex links.

My red sex link that looks identical to yours lays beautiful dark brown eggs!

Any guesses about the breed or cross....not even sure about the sex...was sold to me as a " super egg layer chick" I was thinking silky and leghorn cross but really have no clue!

That white rooster is interesting. Single comb, green legs, crest, and a beard. Wonder if it is like a three or four way mix. Usually the leghorns crosses are white with some black feathers, not sure if you would get that buff shading it has with a first generation leghorn X. But it does have a single comb and with your usual first EE or silkie X you'd not get that. And not sure you would call a silkie mix a potential super egg layer.

Lol...thanks so much...This roo has a good temperament and likes to peck my phone as I was trying to take the photos. Turns out a roo and mut to boot....Lol thanks for the insite. Anyone for fried chicken? LMAO...:-) No more farmers market chicks!
