I have 8 chickens that are just over 8 weeks old. I have figured some of them out like the Silky, Black Australorp , Speckled Sussex and Easter Eggers, Those first ones are easy cause the look nothing like the others. The only reason I think I know the EE's is because I got 2 from the hatchery and I have 2 that look like twins.

Here are the ones in question, and here are my left over choices: Blue Laced Red Wyandotte, Gold Laced Wyandotte and Welsummer. Any thought, please let me know.

Reeses

Sweet Pea

Bluebell......I think this is the BLRW, but colors have me messed up

Reeses is the Gold Laced Wyandotte, Sweet Pea is the Welsummer, Bluebell is an EE, though, just other colors than your other two EEs.

I have 2 that look like this, and I got 2 EE from My Pet Chicken, so that's why I am thinking that "Blue" is my BLRW

She's definitely not a Wyandotte. Wrong comb, wrong leg color, wrong colors, and she is bearded.
I guess they substituted an extra EE for the BLRW[maybe the EE specifically because that was what you ordered most of], maybe they were out of the Wyandottes.

Griffensong and keesmom are correct. Reeses is a Gold Laced Wyandotte, Sweet Pea is a Welsummer, and Bluebell is an EE (Being hybrids produced by crossing blue egg layers with other breeds to produce offspring that lay eggs in a number of colors, EEs come in many colors of feathering).

When I bought them, I had a friend that wanted a Welsummer and an EE, so my order was 1 Silky, 2 Welsummers, 1 BLRW, 1 GLW, 1 SS, 3 EE, and a BA. It was hard to guess which was which when I got them, but I have seen the 2 I gave him a couple of weeks back and his look like a Welsummer and a GLW. How normal is it for hatcheries to send subs and not tell you? cause the packing slip showed exactly what I ordered. I hope he didnt get my BLRW, because that was the one that I really wanted.

Do you have a picture of the other GLW? Blue does not breed true. It's possible to get splash laced red, blue laced red and black laced red from BLRW x BLRW. The other GLW may really be a black laced red.

I am gonna run by there today and try to get pictures of the 2 he got. Looking at picture online, I should be abe to tell at 8 weeks if his is a BLRW or a GLW. On a side note, there is a lady near me the has Blue Wyandottes that are a couple weeks younger than mine so that may be my option instead of swapping ours out, since his kids and my kids are attached to their chickens. Do you think there would be a problem with adding 6wk and 8 wk chickens togethe?
