What breed are these

We recently moved but before that we had a neighbour up the street who had chooks, I told her about a million times she should be feeding layer mash and grit to her big girl because she was always complaining about her not laying and recently complain that the new one she got won't lay either. anyway long story short she was sick of them and wanted layers (same things just gonna happen again cause she feed table scrap only and not the good kind) anyway I told her I would place them in our new pen and find them a new home, we had the room so I didn't mind plus I thought I could help these chickens out a bit and get them a bit healthier. The big one (Milly) started laying healthy eggs after about 3 weeks on layer grit and being wormed, they were soft or misshapen ones and she would lay maybe 2 a week maximum. Milly is getting close to 2 years old.

The small one (fluffhead) I think it isn't going to lay an egg because I think it is a cockerell, I estimate based on how long she had him and what age he looked when she got him he would be about 5 months he has little fights with my other Roo nothing serious usually a squabble if he is getting close to his favourite girl. i have also seen him attempt to jump on milly's back, he fell straight off cause she clobbered him one, she made a weird noise and all I could imagine is her saying and what do you think your doing little boy.

They both look like silky crosses - given the funky comb on 'Milly', maybe silky X buttercup. I'm not 100 % that 'Fluff Head' is a cockerel.

I think the funky comb maybe comes from the V comb from a Polish, rather than a buttercup.

Wouldn't the crests be bigger on a Polish/silky cross? The funky cross does indeed give rise to that possibility.

I'm not seeing the silkie, personally. I'm seeing a Polish mixed with another clean legged, non-crested bird.

What about the purple comb color on 'Milly'? OP, do either of the birds have black skin or five toes?

No black skin and not Silkie I have Silkies and Silkie x they are not anywhere similar, I thought maybe polish but when I kept googling pics I could never find anything that matched them usually the head feathers are much more fluffed and prominent. Milly's kind of sit back in a bad 80's hairdo kinda way and fluff heads poke up a little but that appears to be because they are short.

I think he is a Cockerel as he is challenging the other boy a lot, I have seen him jump on a hen, recently had to give him a big NO because he jumped on my 14 week female who is quite tiny. he also does a lot of the cock sounds I call one of them the inhaling screechy squark that only my Roo does, he does not cluck ever, when he does fight with the Roo his comb and wattle will go bright red. You know something is about to happen if his comb starts changing to bright red and I keep myself nearby then incase things get out of hand (never have though).

One thing with Milly is she has the softest smoothest feathers all over I have never felt them like that before I love having her on my lap and patting her oh and of course she absolutely hates that kind of attention. She also isn't an eat because its there chicken she will only eat at certain times of the day even with the mealworms so maybe that is something too.
