Ohh, I hope you're correct. And it will be 8 weeks old tomorrow. Thanks!

Those chicks look like EEs, or possible Olive Eggers, since they are so dark.
I think your Whiting is a cockerel. Very pronounced comb at a young age. But it's not definite unless it turns red.
Possibly a cockerel then...just keep an eye on it.The comb is very orange. I've never seen this orange of a comb.
definitely a pullet, breed looks like a white ameracana but not absolutely sure. This Whiting True Blue will be 8 weeks on Saturday. It is my first one. I have two more, but they are 5 weeks younger, and completely different coloring. So really nothing to compare to, and I'm curious if this is a boy. No waddle, but comb is pretty definite. I'm unfamiliar with this breed since this one is my first, so not sure if this comb and the way it's holding it's tail feathers is boy-like. It is not friendly or curious like my cockerels usually are, and won't even take mealworms from my hands. More hen type behavior, but I have mixed feelings about which gender it is. Thanks! OMG, 2 threads at the same time trying to get answers and I am not sure if Chr2241130 really got one at all, when you answer 2 threads in the same sentence it becomes confusing to whom you were telling what! Sorry but just saying, had to read it several times to sort it out myself.
