the first is an EE (single comb) Hmmm... That could be bad breeding or a sign of an EE...

The first picture on post #11 is the little Roo, he definitely has a Pea Comb with the 3 rows of spikes. The girls are the ones that look odd, some look single, some look pea.

Maybe they're just very pretty EE's? the product of someones project?

Where did you get them from?
Hatchery= EEs
Breeder= Ameraucanas (most likely)

I got them from the Auction. Someone sent through about 7 boxes of them, but the auctioneer just called them "black chicks" (they don't always read the names the seller writes down). I think the seller was able to sex them though because out of 11 chicks I only got the 1 roo.
