What Breed Can This Be?

This chick is a bantam. At a few days old it was light yellow with 2 black spots on its head.

Now it is 3 weeks old and it is getting black spots on white feathers.
It is a larger bantam with long tail feathers.




Although its comb is still small it is suspected to be a roo.

What breed can this be?

It has a serama type stance in a splash like color. Where you bought it can be a good indication of what it's not.

It was in a bantam assortment from Ideal. I don't think they have Seramas.

It is a bit larger than most of the other bantams.

It does look splash but when I checked the Splash OEGB chicks on Ideals site it looks nothing like them.

Most of what I got in my assortment were OEGB. It is getting more "splashing" as the feathers are coming in.

The only clean-legged bantam chick in the splash coloration offered by that hatchery is OEGBs. This chick certainly fits that description, though his stance and wing carriage is a bit interesting. I would also vote roo because of it. Splash coloration comes in slowly over time, so he'll get more and more as he ages.
