My local TSC got some of these straight run black chicks accidentally mixed in with their order, and they had no idea what breed they are. I went ahead and got one along with my other chicks, simply because of curiosity - but I’m so impatient. Any idea what possible breed this little guy/gal is?

You know I have some backyard chickies same colors and same amount of toes. They're a mix with all sorts of chickens😂

All black like this one. Which is weird.
They are getting a bit of white on their chest and I believe I have 2 pullets and one cockerel.
But mine have straight combs.

Maybe ours will look alike!

As of today I have a YouTube education on sexing chicks, haha! It appears to be a cockerel, but I wouldn’t bet on myself being 100% correct. All of our others are supposed to be pullets, and we have noticed that “he” is MUCH more vocal than the other chicks. I mean, like nonstop loud chirping whenever I take them out for outdoor time. He’s very dramatic, lol.

Wow, those are very unusual looking. They are so black! I wonder if it could be Ayam Cemani?

If I was you I would ask them what hatchery they ordered from and that way you can look up and see if that hatchery breeds Ayam Cemani.
