arent they sweet ? Thats why i thought ISA because OP said they were shy . I have heard the cin. queens can be killers of smaller chicks.I believe either answer is correct. I have Isa browns that are identical.
the member that had them kill the babys jumped the fence i guess to do it.I use incubators instead of broodies and I don't introduce the new flock members until any where from 8 to 12 weeks. I make sure they are big enough to fend for themselves. Even then for some reason one might be singled out for assassination
