they look like ISA brown. could be any type of red production layer. There are a few . They are young? Their not laying right now by the looks of their comb.
 
I use incubators instead of broodies and I don't introduce the new flock members until any where from 8 to 12 weeks. I make sure they are big enough to fend for themselves. Even then for some reason one might be singled out for assassination

the member that had them kill the babys jumped the fence i guess to do it.
