What breed do I have?

I am a first time chicken parent. I purchased my babies at the local rural king. i decided to get 3 Rhode Island Red and 3 Barred Rock. They are about 5 weeks old and two of my "barred rocks" are all black with a little white on their faces. The third is very obviously a Barred Rock. They all came out of the same pin.

Can you show pictures? They all sound like Barred Rocks to me.

I'm thinking black australorps too but, not sure. You can post the photos at "what gender or breed is this." for a more qualified opinion. Welcome to Backyard chickens.

Yeah now that I see them they look more like Australorps or even Jersey Giants.

I'm also thinking Australorps. But to be on the safe side, post some pics of them in the Breed/gender forum section for more opinions. It's hard to tell when they are so young still.
