What breed do you like and what do you think of my choice?

As long as we're all recommending other breeds...

I really love Dutch Hookbills. They're a small breed (4 pounds average), they're old, rare, unique from all other breeds of ducks, and they're the most naturally docile breed I've had so far. They come in Dusky Mallard, White-Bibbed Dusky, and solid White (since you seem to like the White ducks, ChickenChik

). You can read more about them here: http://www.ashtonwaterfowl.net/hook_bill.htm

I
have the Dusky and Bibbed varieties:

I also have Stanbridge White ducks - which are basically a solid-white version of the Magpie duck. They're very similar to Pekins, but they're a bit smaller and more "graceful" looking, and mine are friendlier than my Pekin (BUT, my Pekin is an ornery, old, rescued farm duck).

If I were to get ducks again, I'd be looking into Ancona, stanbridge white, and (god help me) Muscovy. But only to add to my current breeds:p. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my WH and have absolutely no complaints about them.
My WH are absolutely beautiful, I think they are med weight and will be about 7 lbs full grown? They are more skiddish than my cayugas but much more quiet, just a sweet little quack. If I have room in the future (after I move) I would love to raise them.

runner ducks are cool, but I am also partial to the call ducks. The call ducks tend to me more friendly than our runners.

I love my pekin, but messy? YES. And big appetite too. I love Campbells as well. Least enamoured with Cayuga.
