What breed does this sound like?

The blue and green feathers are really black but the light is reflecting off of them causing an iridescent sheen of blue/green. They are really pretty, aren't they? Although the iridecence is more notable in roosters, even my Speckled Sussex hens will have that blue color reflect off the black spots in the sunlight.

Don't forget to quarentine the new hens for a month or so before you add them to your existing flock!

Quarentine them? Does that mean to keep them seperate for about a month? My friend bought from the same place and said he put them in with the existing flock when he got them home and they were fine. He said his rooster went up and plucked a feather from each new hen but that was it.
