What breed & gender am I?.? (Bought as Barnevelder)

Of sorts?.? I emailed the breeder with photos at various stages from the day he came home at two week intervals to now and she suggested he looked like a Buff Orpington...
There's some resemblance, but I don't think he's pure BO as it doesn't match what he looked like as a chick. I'm pretty new to chickens though so happy to be corrected!!

He is absolutely not a BO. If the breeder insists that he is, I would not do anymore dealings with them. They clearly don't know coffee from orange juice.
