I picked these little beauties up few days ago as I have way too many cockerels in the flock (possibly 5 out of 9) and need to swap out. This purchase was in the hope that the kids would accept the replacements...how that goes, who knows.

Myself and the kids fell for these three the moment we saw them. The guy I bought them from told me they were Aracauna's although I'm doubting that as the more I read, the less I agree.

They are apparently 4 weeks old, but they are absolutely tiny. They are no bigger than my hand at the moment. My existing lot are 6.5 weeks now and they are about 3 maybe 4 times the size and probably 4 to 5 times the weight.

One of these girls (I'm hoping they are girls) has sadly passed just a few hours ago, but I've included her in the video as I don't have many more pictures yet.

This video is of them when they first arrived and I made a makeshift brooder box for their first night.

The white one has a more prominent crest and earmuffs. The darker grey/black one had a more prominent crest (now passed). The lighter grey speckled one has the least crest out of the three.

Where did you get it at? It looks like a mix. Chickens with combs like that are way harder (almost impossible) to tell until they are older.
