Hi!
The local school was giving away chicks after having raised them, so I took them. The local ag agent got them from a local farm (local being southern USA), so they could be mixed breeds. I know nothing about their parentage and have no means of finding out. Apparently they were hatched from eggs of a variety of colors. I have posted a few pictures of them while they were younger and some said that a couple could be barred Plymouth rocks, and that they looked like roosters. Can anyone tell what breed or gender they are? They hatched on November 12, so they are about five and a half weeks old.

I can send better pictures if needed. Thank you so much! Any guesses are appreciated.

If you guys don’t mind, how can you tell? Is it their combs?
Yep, it's mostly the combs. Pullet combs remain small and pale until much later. Cockerel combs sometimes grow and get red very early, and that is the sign. At 5 or 6 weeks, those are surely cockerels.
