What breed/gender?

Hi! These chickens were from my daughters kindergarten class (hatched and raised for 4 weeks) They are ours now :) Pictures are from 6 weeks. They are 8 weeks now. I have raised chickens before, but none that looked like this. Hoping someone recognizes the breed and has an idea if they are male or female. (I know it’s a bit early) Thanks!

Unfortunately, they are all males. Those big, bright red combs and wattles at such an early age give it away. I think they are mixed breeds, as most classroom chicks are.
Thanks. Thought they looked like males. They are vert sweet. Will keep one. Any suggestions for rehoming? (haven’t had any roosters before/never had to rehome a chicken)

You can also check in on your state thread with a post.

Often folks will make free rooster ads on Craigslist. If you go that route, do not invite people to your home but make the exchange in a public place like a grocery store parking lot.
