What Breed Goslings?

Picked up 8 goslings last Friday. I am assuming they are embden since I bought them from TSC. I have seen similar colors in sebastopol goslings too. What do y’all think?

If embden, how many males and females?

They look like embden. I would think it's a bit early to tell genders. @DucksAreBest @EverythingDucks anything to say about this?

Although, they are geese, so I don't know if my taggers would help...

I thought I read somewhere that embdens could be sexed based on their colors early on. Is this true?

Nope! That’s pilgrim geese. You can tell right off the bat just by looking at pilgrims. Not what you have though. Dip you have updated photos?

Because of their fast growth rate, large size and white feathers, Embden are the most common goose used for commercial meat production. Their feet and beak are orange but their eyes are a distinct blue. Due to their large size and breeding, they are a strong breed. At hatching time you can be quite accurate in sexing the day olds from their coloration as the gray down in the males is lighter than in the females. As adults, however, both sexes are pure white and the only way you can determine the sex is the males are normally larger, more pompous and proud in their carriage and shriller in their voices (as with other goose breeds).
