What breed (in general) makes the best broody hen

title says it. Any help would be most appreciated. I have a wynadotte that can be here and there but not enough to set eggs under and hope they will hatch.

Silkies and silkie cross hens. They just won't give up! Even the silkie roosters have helped our mommas set on hatched chicks to keep them warm. We have one broody silkie cross right now who should have a hatch any day and another who hatched 6 chicks just before Christmas & has managed to keep every one alive and healthy through all the cold snaps.
