What breed is best ?

Hello ! I am ordering ducklings and I would also like goslings . Do you think they will get along ? I was looking at the embeden geese , do they make good pets ? I want a Toulouse but they are out of stock at won't be in at all :/ or are African geese good pets ? Or do you have any suggestions ? Thank you so much

I have 4 different breeds. White and brown chinese, toulouse and tufted romans. I dont have any favorites i like them all. They are all unique. Most on here will tell you to go for what you like/want to get. Its up to you just pick what you think you would like to have they all make good pets.

On my search, everyone told me to pick what I like best because they are all different and all can make good (or bad, i suppose) pets. I have two Toulouse goslings right now which I can openly say I adore. They are chubby, opinionated, loving little things. For ducklings, I have 3 cayugas and 2 buffs. I am one of "those people" who holds their waterfowl (and chickens, for that matter) pretty often, so all of mine are very friendly, follow me, etc.

There are breeds of both ducks and geese that TEND to be easier to keep in a pet sense, but there are always exceptions. For that reason, most of us will say pick what you like. I picked my Toulouse because they are one of the breeds that tend to be easier to keep friendly, not one of the loudest geese, good size, and I think they are very attractive.

I just ordered a African gosling from metzer farms along with 6 ducklings and it says the order will be on April 29th I can't wait ! Thank you so much ! And I wanted a Toulouse also but they didn't have any more and they won't for like the rest of the year :/ and I am going to hold them a lot as well !
