What breed is he?

I bought him as a chick supposedly as a Barred Rock but I'm not sure what he is. I hope someone can help identify his breed. Thanks for the help!

looks like a black sexlink. with a lot of red leakage.

Looks more like a Creole variety, is it a bantam or standard sized rooster?

oh nevermind then. i can't think of any five-toed breeds with that colouring. he must be a very interesting mix.

He is a full size bird in fact he is a big fellow. An odd thing (you can't see it in the photo) is that he has 5 toes on each foot (3 front & 2 behind). He came from a major hatchery so I don't think he could be mixed...not sure how that works though.

He could be mixed. I ordered OEGBs from a major hatchery last year and several of them had crests (not normal for OEGs). Possibly a Dorking cross.

Looks like a mix to me! No hatchery sells any LF breeds in the Crele variety. I love Crele, one of my favorite colors!
