What breed is he?

So Delware's are one of the exceptions for egg color and ear color.
 
Actually Delawares have red earlobes-none of the American breeds have white lobes. However, Lamonas, who have red lobes do lay white eggs.
I can't see the lobes very clearly in your picture but you may be mistaking a pale, not yey mature lobe, for a white lobe.
Also it's hard to tell from your pictures why you think this is a cockerel? It appears to me to be a Delaware pullet.
 
he/she looks an awful lot like the two columbian wyndottes i have right now, i'll have to check ear color tomorrow. my gl and sl wyndotess lay brown eggs and have white ears, alright, maybe just the gold, i'm tired right now, but i know one of my hens ears don't match her eggs, i'll check tomorrow
