What breed is Helen?

I’m wondering if you can help figure out the breed of my bantam hen, Helen. I thought she was a black Old English, but she has white circles under her ears, and other pics I’ve seen of Old English don’t have them. Maybe a black Japanese bantam?

Does she have a straight or Rose comb? I can't tell from the pictures. My new glasses aren't in yet.

I don't have a black OEGB, but I have several other OE. Our bb red hen has ear lobes that are sometimes white, sometimes mint green or aqua green. We also have a black rosecomb bantam. They have white earlobes too.

Agreed. Could also be a Black Rosecomb with incorrect comb. Which could happen with hatchery birds.
