It's possible that the hatchery sent a single red sexlink cockerel in an order of pullets but I think it's far more likely to be an Amberlink. They can look exactly like that.

I definitely agree. Don't male red sex link chicks go straight into the grinder after hatching? Much more likely to be a missexed amberlink.
