It's not if she's Blue Birchen, or Regular Birchen. It's a different variant of Black, or Blue Birchen(Black, or Blue Copper), but a silver base instead of Red/Gold.

Birchen is pretty much a solid black bird with Gold/Red or Silver in the Hackles, Shoulders, Hackles, Saddles(Males), & or sometimes some imperfect lacing in the breast.
The other name of the coloration is also called Crowwing, due to no colored wing bar.

But as far as titles go for color varieties, birchen is silver based and brown red or copper is gold based. Birchen is used as an umbrella term in genetics. That's how I learned it, anyway.

Got it. I meant more like it is strange that they are selling hatching eggs for a relatively uncommon variety without mentioning what it is. I'd think that detail would be advertised. Unless, of course, they don't actually know what is going to hatch out.

Isn't brown red the same as black copper? Seems pretty close. I think of brown red OEGs as gold counterparts to birchen OEGs.
