What breed is my black Hen?

I would like to be certain about the breed of my black Hen,because it's eggs have a bitter,weird,undelightful l taste. And i just wanted to know if that was normal? my Hen has black legs,and its black but when light shines on her feathers they turn green, she is very young, lays about 4-5 eggs per week, and its a little one. any help would be great. thanks

It's a mixed breed. I'll let the folks more familiar with crested breeds take a stab at what mixed with what.

we got our chickens on april, and i did gave them medicine for worms on that same april, and she started laying this month,

and i did think about that but my other Hens been laying since june and their eggs dont taste bad, they taste real good.

Is it possible she's a mix between a Australorp and a Polish?

bad-tasting eggs are a result of something the chicken is consuming. Go over their diets, and check their run for items that may be pecked at. If the taste is fishy in nature, she may be getting too much Omega 3s and 6s for her body to process, and is secreting them into the eggs. If that's the case, it'll fix itself eventually as her body adjusts.

it oh most sounds like a dark cornish of the sun on her feathers turns green but idk i have most purebred a few ees .. it could be dark cornish and a polish but idk im not that good with mix breeds "mutts"

Do her eggs have a strange color? If so, I would suspect an infection if the answer is yes.

Yes I agree with Pele in that if it isn't medication, and it isn't infection, then it must be something she is eating.

they dont have an extrange color. just a the taste is almost like if it was rotted egg, or somethin. and what kind of infection could it be, i taught that only healthy Hens could lay eggs.? lol. i dont know. this is my firs flock of chickens. and we are really exited about them too.
