What breed is my chick?

Hello, 8 week old chick, pretty sure its girl (please don't break my heart!) But we got a mixed bunch and I have no idea what she is? Thanks!

Where are you located? Did they come from a hatchery, a reputable breeder or a private seller?

Australia, private seller, but we saw her set up and she kept breeds separate for mating. They were only a day old though so it's possible it could be many things as the chicks were all in together so it was a bit of a lucky dip.

I suspected you may be in Australia and that would make the likely id araucana....the standard where you are is very different than that for the breed here in the states

Overly simplified, US standard is rumpless and tufted. UK & Australian is crested and tailed. (Not all us bred are tufted due to the particular genetics involved)
