what breed is my chickens

I was told maybe light brown leghorns but I have no clue..lol Got them from an auction last night and this whole chicken thing is new to me !
 
While the coloring is the same, Leghorns would have yellow legs and the hens/pullets should have bigger combs.

Do you know how old they are?

Are they gonna be good egg layers or good to eat ? Glad we only got a few and will be getting more chicks but not before alittle more research is done..lol
 
Usually, Old English Game are neither good egg layers or good eating birds. They are excellent at brooding their own eggs and chicks, however. Old English Game are one of the hardiest breeds of chicken as well and great foragers.
