What breed is my hen?

Hello! I bought this girl as a chick and was told it was a prairie bluebell. However I’m pretty sure she isn’t as she looks nothing like the other one I bought. She is 14 weeks old now. Any idea on what breed she is? She has beautiful black feathers that have a green sheen. Thanks in advance!!

Prairie Bluebells are a mixed breed so they can look like anything! I have a beautiful blue-gray one, but they can be light, dark, or mixed plumage

Prairie Bluebells do come in a variety of colors (mine is white with black) but should have a Pea comb. Princess hasn't laid yet so still waiting on the blue eggs

I was thinking that too. Could also be a Midnight Majesty Marans. Some have feathered legs and some don’t.

What a pretty lady she is though! Love that iridescence

I'm going with black sex link hybrid. This is a very common look for them.

Some are sold as "dominant copper".. being Marans rooster over Barred Rock hens..

She indeed looks like a pullet now, I assume it was just the position the first picture was in. If she was a cockerel, the sickle feathers would have already developed.
