We got her at an auction when she was about 3-4 weeks old and thought she might be a wyandotte. Now that she is older, we are pretty sure she is not. I have tried to find what she might be but have been unsuccessful. She is VERY broody too!!

Thanks,

She sort of looks like a Phoenix hen, mine had the slate legs and a similar tail, single comb. Maybe someone else can give you a definite. Pretty girl:)

I was looking through some photos of silver duckwing phoenix and from what I can tell, that must be what she is. At least, that is all I have found so far that looks a lot like she does. I did find a silver leghorn that was similar but they have yellow legs.

I am having a hard time finding much info on the Phoenix tho. Sounds like they may not be as popular as some other breeds. We just picked her up because the kids thought she was pretty.

Leg color? American Game can have leg colors in: Blue, Green, Black, Yellow and White.
As for the earloabes being white I said "Looks like she has American Game in her" meaning she could be a American Game cross.
