What breed is my lil' Rooster?

Donated by my neighbor last year as he kept coming to my empty coop about a year ago. He's the reason I restarted the flock.

He's probably a mutt but I'm curious what mix he could be. I always thought he was part Dutch Bantam. He's the sweetest lil guy, does a great job with his herd and always gentle with everyone.

He has a brother living on the other side of the fence. They look almost identical except his brother has a super long green tail.

My 5 yo calls him "Baby Rooster", he asked if the other one is his brother... I said 'maybe".. so he calls the brother "Maybe Rooster"

He kind of looks like a Marans to me but I'm definitely not an expert. He's very cute!

Old English Game bantam mix most likely. Dutch bantams have slate legs and white earlobes. I would expect a Dutch cross to show these traits to some degree.

He such a sweet lil' guy. Everyone said "you don't need a rooster, he's gonna harass the girls, not worth it"

He gathers the girls really well when free ranging; they would be all over the place if it wasn't for Good Ol' Bayby Rooster , especially if I let them out early and one goes back to the coop to lay... he's the beacon of guiding back to "where its at" . so much fun to watch. Go Bayby Rooster !

Almost forgot... good calls all around... he has some Maran in his bloodline... his dad was also Phoenix and OEB mix, which explains brother "Maybe Rooster" big tail
