what breed is my little chick?

I was told my little chick was a partridge silkie but he doesn't have the extra toe or look like my other white silkie. I'm thinking polish crested?

Looks like a Partridge Silkie to me. Probably hatchery quality since he doesn't have an extra toe.

Where did you get the chick from? Could you post a clear close-up photo of his entire body? He could just be a hatchery-quality Silkie, or a Silkie mix; its hard to tell right now.

If it has feathered legs it wouldn't be a polish I don't think

Probably a Silkie, but I'm not sure on the color variety. Hatchery birds often are not quite true to the breed-- Silkies may lack a fifth toe, Rhode Island Reds may be the wrong size/color, Cochins may have insufficient leg feathering, etc.
