I just got a rabbit! Her names Apple. I bought her as a pure bred mini lop but she does not really look like one. She’s 8 weeks old and she is 2 pounds. Does anyone know what breed she is? Or is she just some kind of mix? She could be younger than 8 weeks. But she was sold as a 8 week old pure bred mini lop doe.

These are all pictures of Apple!

We got my other mini lop when he was 12 weeks old. He had his ears down. This is Caramel!View attachment 3340179
That looks way more like a lop.
I'm not familiar with most rabbit breeds, and yours doesn't match any that I am familiar with. Do you know of what other breeds were kept?

The color could be lop, it's very possible that if babies were weaned and housed together, they could have accidentally grabbed the wrong one if it isn't tattooed

Did she come with a pedigree?

Body LOOKS lip-ish, could be airplane ears and they'll drop over time. I'm suspicious it's a mix though. At 8 weeks I'd give her some time and see if those ears come down but they look pretty well established. I've had hollands with one ear that never dropped and it's fairly common. not 2 though. If she's from a breeder and they sent her to a farm store it's a breeding reject, probably because of the ears. Doens't mean she's not a great little rabbit though. I like brokens and tricolors.

We had got some rabbits that were lionheads and they turned out to be mini rexs and yours kinda looks like a mini rex. I would give her a couple more weeks and see if her ears drop.
