@ChooksNQuilts Thinking you might be able to help this op with their query.Hi there,
I purchased two ‘pekin bantams’ thinking they were girls, it has turned out one is a pekin bantam and a cockerel. But I’m having trouble deciding if the other is a pekin or a Brahma.
Plz help if possible

Can you? Oh that would be great@ChooksNQuilts Thinking you might be able to help this op with their query.
Yeah I will check their website and possibly even email them to ask. I’m pretty certain they don’t keep Brahmas but they do sell coochinsIf they don’t keep any Brahmas then it must be a Pekin.
I think it’s a little young to really tell yet but it doesn’t seem to have a straight comb
Perhaps it’s a mix?
After perusing old photos of my Pekin (Cochin) bantam pullets, I saw that the comb is obvious even at 4-6 weeks so I don’t know about this little one.
She’s awfully cute though!![]()
