What breed is my roo?

I had a friend from work give me a rooster after my got killed. He got him from someone else but didn't ask what breed he is.

I'm not a pro at this but would guess a red sex link rooster. My neighbor had one and he was the PERFECT rooster! Kind and non-aggressive towards people but was very protective of his ladies.

We have had him maybe 3 months. When we first got him he escaped our fenced not coop area and stayed one for 2 days. He will run from us but he he does love his ladies. We currently have black stars and red Ranger hens with him.

He's a mixed breed, quite possibly a red sex link.

agree - I guess a roo that is afraid of humans is better than one that attacks them. Was he like this when you first got him?
