he is NOT a Old english in my opinion. Bodies way too bulky. Old englishs can get pretty big body wise. but none that big without crossing in it somewhere. not to mention the tail is a bit too short for Old englishes.

Type and color are off for a crele old english. The color is similar to crele, but not the same. He looks big for a bantam, but not quite standard sized, certainly looks bulky for an oe. I'd have to agree and say a br x a red or buff bird, with one parent possibly a bantam.
