What breed is my rooster?

He is a single comb rooster. Black feet. No feathering. No beard. Big beautiful comb. Bright red eyes. He is a very big
and impressive looking bird. He has a laid back, gentlemanly attitude toward people and hens.

Only his...saddle?(long feathers before the tail)are longer and he has Barring on his chest, but only
on his chest, no where else.

I was thinking Birchen/cuckoo cross maybe? Just a mutt? Could he possibly be all marans? Just wondering.

I'm sorry I don't have a picture. MIGHT be able to get one in the future.

He could be a Birchen Marans, or possibly a Silver Gray Dorking or Iowa Blue. It is also likely he is a mixed breed.

50-50 chance? I don't think so. There's too many breeds and genetic diversity to "guess" 50. Black Australorps are the most common breed to have black feet. If he is bigger than most roosters, he might have jersey giant in him, for jersey Giants also have black feet. The pic you had in the link looked like a silver EE mix. Barring can be cuckoo or a barred rock. More color can be used to narrow it down. No 50 50 guessing. Hope that helped. If you have more color info on him and maybe a pic of anything of him, would help A lot!
