What breed is my Rooster?

    He showed up and needless to say hes my hens man now...

    I was thinking a standard old English what do you think?

  2. wow--he's really pretty---

    I keep forgetting the breed that was the model for Kellogg's cornflakes...was it Welsumer or was it Marans... He looks like the Kellogg's model to me. :eek:)

    At least you will get a bump---maybe a breed expert can name the breed.

    Ooooh! He's a very handsome boy! He looks like a Black Breasted Red Standard Old English.

    It was a Welsummer, and the color is the same, black breasted red. But wellies are a lot heavier bodied.

    I agree with the those who said he is a Welsummer. One thing is for sure..he is one very beautiful bird!
