looks silkie x marans to me. I have a silkie cross welsummer and hes like that but without marans colouring

Definitely a silky mix, he has the silky walnut comb. Looks like a silkie crossed with a sultan, which explains the crest and feathered legs. He's really pretty!

a sultan and a silkie i was wondering I have him in with my production reds. Would the chicks they have be good layers?

He looks a lot like polish/silkie crosses I've had. For some reason the roosters from silkie crosses end up with those vivid orange feathers, even if their parents had no red at all. These were a cross between black silkie/WCB polish.






This guy is a polish/silkie crossed back to a silkie.
